Daily Outfit

It is very grey and cold today, but I am feeling surprisingly sunny. I think it is the buzz I get from cozying up inside with hot coffee and reading lots of visually stunning blogs. While I try and get around all my fashionable friends every other day or so, I also try and make time to venture from my circle and find inspiration elsewhere. I love the buzz I get from finding a beautiful page of someone whose aesthetic is similar to mine, and find myself imagining how their wonderful outfits/toys/artwork would fit into my world. Hence the shot of one of my favorite vintage dolls in the background. Do you have a favorite 'Pick Me Up' blog that makes you feel indulged?

Yes it's RO and Becky, I've mentioned them before. I'm anticipating a cold weekend so man-fur Jackie (yes named after Joan's sister) may make the voyage down south!

Wendy: How hot does it get there? I'll bet you don't get those 45 degree (celcius) days we get here in Summer.
Tizz and Nadine: Since I got these I have worked them into every other outfit. They are so comfortable and I love the way the different colours show through the straps.
Imelda: "Man Fur Jackie" LOL!

I love your outfit and your chair, too! One of my inspirations is Alicia Paulson's blog. It's not about fashion; she's a crafts designer, but I love her colors and her cuteness, and the writing is stunning. www.rosylittlethings.typepad.com

Out blog hopping. Cute outfit!

And just reading about it being cool is a great break and "pick me up" with the heat we're having here in the U.S.

Amy: I used to visit Rosy little things quite often when looking for decorating info. Very nice visuals.
Liz: Thanks for coming over, so nice to see you here and glad you're enjoying!
Enc: Thanks, I really needed to find a way to make the Argyle work. I have had it for years but it usually just makes me feel old, and not in a good way. So it has been living in the 'to go' pile for a while and I thought I'd give it one more chance in this ensemble. It may have found a reprieve.
That girl: Another first time commenter ( I do love that). While I love these shoes, they do keep turning up regularly, I think I may have to work the rest of my extensive collection a little better.
The Freelancer: The chair was another one of my magical Ebay finds. I just fell in love.
Lady Melbourne: Thank you. Even the Mr liked the tights which was quite a surprise.
Annabannana: Thank you very much.
Kacey: Thanks for stopping by. While it isn't quite snowing here, there have been some days when the washing just goes stiff on the line!

You are too cute. I love all of your pictures. And becoming Joan. Priceless. Keep up the fab work. I need to make a point to get here more often. I'm always inspired!

Boutique: Thank you. I think Joan is still in there somewhere. It means a lot that you take inspiration from this. Will we be seeing you on Uncommonly Fetching Mamas at Flickr?

Yes! I love that chair and the curtains, so delicious! I love YOUR blog! It is definitely an indulgence. I never really thought of the internet like that. Do you sometime find yourself getting lost among a string of links and you don't know how you got there?
I like yer Argyle As Well!

Lil Puch: Thank you,and you're welcome. You have some lovely outfits on your blog too.
Ruby May: Thank you, I am in the process of redecorating and thinking of replacing the curtains with red tartan swags. I do love the dramatic effect. I love getting lost in the link chain too.
