I'm not 100% happy with todays outfit. The top I have had for ages and hardly worn. I has been living in the pile of things to go on Ebay but I thought I'd give it one last chance. Although I like the colour and styling, the height of the waist bothers me. I think that on looking at these photos, that the whole thing is rather aging and makes me look larger than I am - definitely NOT what I want. I was quite happy with the way my hair worked out, so I think that was the biggest winner of the day.
I am quite over a lot of older things in my wardrobe, but somehow they keep on making their way back in. I figure the best way to get rid of them is the wear them once, see if they make me feel good, bad or otherwise. Then I won't have a problem letting go if I just can't make them work. It is days like these when I am very happy that there are quite a few vintage Ebay piece making their way to my letter box. With any luck, I'll have some lovely new dresses for Mothers Day to show you.

Hair is fun! I love your wear it / figure out how it makes you feel / resell it philosophy. Very smart.
I also think the top looks nice on you - absolutely everything seems to! - but it's a bit conservative for you, non?
I love the hair...Gorgeous!
Your hair is amazing!
Perfect hair!
k.line: I think you've hit the nail on the head. I can do conservative, but it needs to have a twist, which this really doesn't. I debated about even posting this outfit, but I think that is the whole point of the daily outfit section; to look at myself objectively and get feedback from others perspective too.
lil midget, nadine & wendy: Thanks, I was so happy with it. I learnt this trick from a You Tube tutorial and it takes all of 5 minutes.
Personally I think the top looks great on you - but if you don't feel good in it it's probably best to let it go, pointless having something that you're not going to enjoy wearing. Love your hair! And also the trousers - fabulously funky!
How you manage to look so divine everyday (with chitln') constantly amazes me...I bet it takes you 5 mins to get ready in the morning! Mama needs her own TV show.
LOL...I've just scrolled down to read your other comments and read yours!!! There you have it folks!
Bronwyn: Thanks for the compliment on the pants. I made these myself and so days I like them, some days not so much.
Imelda: Why thank you M'am. Perhaps Foxtel might pick me up one of these days. They could slot me in after Tonya Todman and her Shabby Shit. :)
I'm firmly in the "if it doesn't make me feel good, it's OUT" camp.
You look GORGEOUS!! head to toe :)
