Hair is/was amazing, I was there to see it and I can confirm this woman is a genius when it comes to slick retro hair styles.
Yay for red, definitely suits you.

You looked AMAZING (as always) and I have to say that you reminded me of Bree from desperate housewives coming up the hallway carrying your basket looking so chic (I mean this in a good way, I love Bree)

Hammie: I found it on ebay at the beginning of winter and it has been waiting for an outing.
Tara: It made the day feel even more spring like.
Enc: And that's why it is so hard to pick a favorite too. Although I can never wear mustard, khaki or anything of that tone. It is just bad bad bad. So sadly when I am feeling all "African Queen" (Katherine Hepburn), I have to be very careful how I manage that look.
LM: Thank you. I had to learn how to do them because for me, to have my hair out long and slick (like yours) takes me a good hour of work as opposed to about 10 minutes for these styles.
(r)evolver74: Hi there and thank you. :)
Esme: Thank you, thank god the windy day didn't get it. You should have seen me heading to the party wearing a headscarf a la HRH Queen Elizabeth!
Miss Corrine: Thank you :)
Fashion Hayley: Wow, thank you! In my book that is quite the compliment - I love that woman of steel. My husband said I looked like Little Red Riding Hood with the basket, so I had to watch out for the wolves. :)
I really had the most lovely time, and so nice of you to match the decorations to my outfit.

You have FABULOUS style!
What lipstick are you wearing? I love the hue.

Candice DeVille said...

Chloe: Hi there and thanks. I'll certainly do that for you.
Mary-Laure: Thank you. the lipstick is MAC's Russian Red. It stays on like a dream too.

I haven't had the time to read blogs for about a week now and it seems I've missed a lot... Anyway, you look as sweet as a strawberry cupcake! Or cherrypie (and that's my favourite)!
