Daily Outfit - Casual Sunday

Outfit Details: Shirt - Eve Vintage, Black jersey top - Trussadi, Jeans - Target, Shoes - Ed Hardy, Red Rose earrings - Diva, Cherry hair clip - Genki. Red Lipstick - MAC Russian Red.

Today's plan was a simple one. Some groceries, sewing and hanging out at home. Somehow, on the way to get the groceries, I also happened to find a killer red and black plaid dress at Review and a few other tops along the way. But I did stick to the mission, and the family is now fed so I can move on to more entertaining things. And tonight I'll be entertaining myself with some Stargate Atlantis, red wine and perhaps a little icecream. It doesn't sound like much, but after a long week it sounds just about right to me.

That sounds like the perfect Sunday evening in. Well, I'll watch something other than Stargate Atlantis, but wine and icecream.... if you say so. ;)

Man, you look a lot better on your casual days than I look on mine.

Found your blog on The Vintage Housewife blogspot. Love this outfit and your hair! I'm off to browse the glamorous photos in your flickr album. WOW!

What a cute outfit! You look like a modern day, chic Rosie the Riveter :)

I love your shirt but I can't find one like it online. Do you have any ideas where I can get one like it? This outfit is so cute and I love how you styled the shirt to make it super feminine.

Leah: Thanks, the brand is called All About Eve, but I can't find anything helpful about it online, not even a stockist. My tip for this would be to look for a boys shirt in a similar styling with epaulets (maybe a scout shirt or work wear shop?) and then apply your own applique badges to it. If you're handy with a sewing machine add some bust darts and run in the side seams for more shaping. Hope this helps. :)

Thank you! I have found myself in the boy's section a few times lately. I'll look around some and see what I can find. I would love to sew and keep looking for lessons but they are always at odd times. Too bad I never learned!
Thanks again!
