Valentine Frills

With a delightful 30's vintage style print, this silk Collette Dinnigan set with its French knickers stole my heart.

When it comes to giving or receiving lingerie, you need to be fully prepared for battle. The simple act of choosing the right gift for your loved one becomes a mine field filled with innuendo, hidden agendas and holds the potential to delight or insult. His dream ensemble may have you heading for the hills imagining just where exactly you are supposed to put that thing? It may be a delightful concoction conjuring up fantasies of a fire side romance - but with someone two sizes smaller (or bigger as the case may be). Indeed the safest option for Valentines Day and all other significant lingerie buying occasions, is to buy for yourself and call it a gift for your man. Two (love) birds with one stone.

Raspberry goodness, botanicals and butterflies - also from Collette Dinnigan.

How was your Valentines Day?

I can really relate to this and I think you have come up with the perfect solution. We also go lingerie shopping and pick out something together.
I worked on Valentines Day and came home to a meal of Oxtail stew served with jasmine rice, cheap champagne, and an old-fashioned box of heart shaped chocolates.

My valentines day was filled with a big suprise... I got engaged to my boyfriend!! And talk about a shopping minefield, he'd already bought the ring in secret! Luckily he did a fantastic job and it's just the most sparkly, pretty little thing ever.

MB: How lurvely.
Ruby:Oh yum. A meal cooked by someone else always tastes so much better.
emma g: What a moment that is! How nice it it not to be wearing those grey saggy ones anymore?!
Paula: CONGRATULATIONS! That is such wonderful news. If he managed to get the ring right and keep it a secret, it bodes well for future occasions.

Thanks SKM! Well after almost 9 years together I'm glad he's picked up an idea or two about my jewellery preferences!

Hi SKM, we don't celebrate Valentine's. My husband gives great presents for birthday, xmas and anniversary - and I have trained him to write long, meaningful cards on those occasions too, so I figure that's enough for the poor old soul.

Now, I must inform that I have given you an award on my blog - for being a blog which shows gratitude or great attitude.

Christian Louboutin
Famous shoemaking Christian Louboutin has said, master a good-looking girl should at least have seven pairs of shoes, like seven SINS: a pair of fun, a pair of flirt with wear, a pair of work , a pair of vacation, a pair of Night time, a pair of never wear and a pair of you don't like. Have a pair of shoes don't like can remind yourself no moment perfect outfit.
