Drinks for Two

Tonight is one for the chaps, and we ladies who love to dream. After reading this post over at A Dress a Day on what she would wear for a day were she a guy, I got thinking. (Well, after I had recovered from a David Tennant induced case of heart palpitations!) If I were to take you out for a drink based purely on your outfit, what would you possibly be wearing? (Imelda Matt I thought of you the moment I saw those red shoes.)

I never asked his name. He was the only one who didn't look my way as I entered the pavilion. Fingers of silky blue smoke curling around his hand, he smiled at his reflection bobbing up and down on the rocks. "Excuse me, I'm placing my order for breakfast and I just wanted to know how you like your eggs." I say.

He smiled and stood, offering me his seat. His hand played with the corner of his notebook, dogeared from his nervousness. "Thank you for making my day more beautiful" he said. Oh Captain Awesome, I'm bowled over.

You've single handedly made me yearn for colder months filled with dapper menswear. Well done. :)

Very cool. I like them both. Henry used to dress very similar to the 2nd one but has gone less formal and more rock n roll/dirty grunge recently. I miss his more tailored look. He won't wear his pointy shoes anymore or his braces all because some idiot yelled from a car while Henry was at a tram stop "FAG" (he was also wearing a bright red cardigan)

Imelda: So drinks it is then? :)
Cammila: Now if only I could get the man in my life to wear something a little more spiffy.
Enc: It's those unexpected that get a girl interested, no?
LM: Thank you. Why is it that so many fashion bloggers have equally stylish other halves? I wonder if this was the natural state in which you found them or perhaps they have become transformed by your most excellent example.
Fashion Hayley: Oh no, that is so sad! Given that "FAG's" are often touted as the most stylish and best dressed men out there, he should have taken that as a compliment. Isn't that one of the reasons that so many women bemoan their unavailability? Tell Henry to dig out those braces and wear them with pride. If confronted again, he could always threaten to put an eye out with them!

The top outfit is a must. Oh, how I long for white bucks. I must stop putting off their purchase.

Yes, I think that top outfit is my favorite, and the white bucks really do give it a whole new level of sophistication. I'm sure there is an already reserved space in your wardrobe for a pair.
