A Garden of Delight

Outfit Details: Cardigan - Ivory, Pin up Print Camisole- Antz Pantz, Cream Pants - by me, Shoes - Rodhe, Earrings and Bracelet - Diva, Hair Bow - Sugar Doll designs.

Boxing Day was spent in a traditional fashion here. A relaxed, sunny afternoon of extreme gastronomical delight and over indulgence. After the tinsel and sparkle of Christmas day, it was a wonderful chance to take in the Christmas beauty of a more natural fashion. I took these photos by the most amazing trumpet flower trees in my brother yard. He recently moved into an old property with a beautifully wild yet tended garden. The sort of place you might imagine pixies run wild and fairies have dance parties on their nights off.

I hope all your Christmases have been a relaxed and festive event with lots of Nana napping to
follow.

You are so befitting of your title (Super Kawaii Mama). I gush with delight every time you post!

Wow, you look totally stunning in those pics!

Such pretty and elegant photos, very dreamlike. Which seems appropriate for frolicking with the datura flowers like that (google if you're not sure what I'm talking about)...

Lovely SKM, I did something very similar. Beautiful cardigan, can't wait to see what you will be wearing NYE!

You look splendid SKM.

Now, as a side note because I have a nerdy Herbologist streak: If your brother has young children as you do, warn him that the flower is highly toxic, and it should be kept clear of the little-uns.

It does look rather amazing though.

Erin: Thank you, I often wonder if people know what the name means.
Calamity Jem: Thank you. :)
Skye: Ah, so that's their proper name. I'll have to check it out some more.
The vintage year: Thanks, I try my best with the photos, I wasn't really a natural but I'm practicing.
LM: I'm still deciding between a few outfit choices at this stage with our crazy weather, but I do love the opportunities NYE presents.
Grant: Thanks for the heads up. I figured as much as it seems the most beautiful flowers always are.

Hi Sis

I did some searching and I believe the plant is called "Brugmansia Arborea". I a nut shell; beautiful, wildly hallucinagenic and deadly.
